They're everywhere you look, all over twitter, on posters in stores, on TV and even on the cover of AP magazine. It’s impossible to not know who 5 Seconds of Summer are. To add to all this, the four piece band has just released their first full length, self-titled album. This album has a mix of rock, pop and acoustic songs that everyone can enjoy. If you want something pop, listen to "She Looks So Perfect." It's the song that started the band's rise to popularity and is an insanely catchy tune. If you want something slow, listen to "Amnesia," a song is about wishing you could go back and change the past. In addition to the 12 tracks on the CD, the band released a number of bonus tracks including "Mrs. All American," which sounds like a remake of "Stacy's Mom" and "Social Casualty." It is a song about teenage rebellion and not wanting to conform to society.

After listing to this album, it's easy to see why it has been topping the charts. But the band didn't write these songs alone. They had help from some major names in pop punk, such as Alex Gaskarth of All Time Low and Benji and Joel Madden of Good Charlotte. This album turned four boys from Australia into international superstars, and it doesn't look like they're going anywhere any time soon.
