Concert Review: Before You Exit - Dangerous Tour

BY: KC Brown

With their exposure on radio Disney, Before You Exit has recently exploded. It’s no wonder why they are so popular. Their songs are catchy and relatable, filled with upbeat lyrics and melodies. Their most recent tour, The Dangerous Tour, definitely showcases how far the band has come in the past few months.

Spencer Sutherland opens the show with a mix of original songs and popular covers such as "Talk Dirty to Me" and "Royals." He does a good job at opening up the show and getting the crowd ready for what’s to come.

The second opener, Macy Kate, is new to the touring scene but a natural at performing. Her voice is phenomenal, whether she is playing an original song or covering "Radioactive" by Imagine Dragons. It’s hard to believe that she is only 15 years old.

The final opener is Plug in Stereo. Despite their music being more relaxed and laid back, they seem to fit perfectly into the lineup. While not everyone in the crowd knows all of their songs there is one song in particular that almost everyone sings along to. "Truly, Madly, Deeply" is a well-known One Direction song that lead singer Trevor Dahl helped to write.

Finally, Before You Exit bursts out onto stage, while launching right into their new single, "Dangerous." They play original songs such as "I Like That," "End Of The World" and "Soldier" and mix in a few covers such as "Roar" and "Life Is A Highway." Though the three brothers may be young, they know how to put on a riveting show. After watching them perform, it’s clear why they draw such large crowds and easy to see that they will continue to become more popular in the future.
