"To the Action Item Family, fans, friends, etc,
We are coming to you to let you know that Mark will be taking an indefinite hiatus from touring with Action Item. As you know, Mark Shami was & always will be a part of the heart of this band. As much as we will miss him on the road, we couldn't be more excited for his future endeavors on that path that he has chosen. Action Item will always be brothers, there's nothing in the world that can change that. Mark's decision to take personal time has no bearing on our friendship, wasn't a result of creative differences, or any other common excuse. This is Mark's choice to have space & take time to himself. Please respect his decision & we hope that you continue to support both us & him.
To the UK fans, we will see you on tour with The Summer Set & to our North American fans, we will see you on Warped tour. This is bound to be the best summer of our lives/careers and we can't wait to share every moment with you. Thank you!
